Childcare Financial Assistance (ELC)

Our Daycare is approved by Early Learning Coalition (ELC) of St. Lucie County. ELC offers financial assistance to eligible low-income families for quality childcare and early education through their School Readiness (SR) Program. SR Program covers ages 6 weeks to 9 years.  

• What This Means for You: ELC program can cover a portion or all of your childcare tuition (family must qualify)

• How to Apply: Eligibility is based on income and work status. We encourage all interested families to contact the ELC. You can visit https://www.elcslc.org/ or call them at 772-595-6424. You are also welcome to contact us and we will help you regarding the application process.

 

We also accept VPK vouchers: We also accept VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) vouchers. VPK is a free program and open to all families, including high-income families. To be eligible for VPK, children must live in Florida and be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the current school year. If their fourth birthday falls February 2 through September 1 in a calendar year, parents can postpone enrolling their child in VPK that year and wait until the following year when their child is 5.

LAPP (Local Agency Partnership Program) Childcare Support for Teen Mothers: LAPP program provides dedicated childcare support in St. Lucie County Schools and partner childcare centers.

• What This Means for You: If you are a teen mother attending a St. Lucie County School, the LAPP program gives you a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for each child.
